We haven't eaten in the restaurant itself yet, but we will definitely do that when it opens again. We picked up our 2 goose menus on Saturday evening after ordering in advance by phone in the restaurant. There was also instructions on how to prepare and serve the menu at home. The restaurant really thought of everything. The whole thing took a total of maybe 30 minutes and was really easy. Because all components were packed or shrink-wrapped separately, the serving of the dish was also wonderfully successful. And most important of all: It tasted great and the portion was more than enough. Price-performance ratio is absolutely okay here.

We had the goose menu to go for 4 people. So: everything super individually packed with great instructions. It took about 30 minutes to prepare. The food was excellent. Thank you very much christof Paul and his team.
Was then at mc .. Hungry for about 54 €. Prices next to it.
It's always nice and we had a lovely afternoon there, fast and polite service. I think all the staff did a good job there, the seats were immaculately cleaned and the seating was deeply comfortable. Try that good cooking room, the menu has something for everyone on the menu.

A really successful evening I haven't been to Paul's for a long time. My wife spontaneously chose the restaurant for my birthday dinner with friends. The preliminary discussion with Mr. Paul about the menu and drinks was professional and helpful. And then the evening - everything was perfect: the menu, the wines, the service etc. I and my guests were thrilled.

First class restaurant! Great, quiet and almost intimate atmosphere with seating on two floors and an outdoor area in good weather. Both as a guest of the regular daily business, as well as a guest for a private event, we always felt welcome. The quality of all dishes prepared by us was unique! A fine cuisine, accompanied by fresh local produce and a sophisticated collection of dishes, menus and wine accompaniment round off the experience at a virtually unbeatable price-performance ratio. The service was always courteous, attentive and friendly. "Special requests" by our guests during the private event were benevolently implemented. The menu arrangement in advance with Christoph Paul personally was uncomplicated and very helpful advisory. We always come back and are already looking forward to the next visit!
Very poor service! Half full restaurant but it was "fully booked" according to staff. Very bad not to have room for the hotel's own guests! We booked a table the next day, they wrote it in the book but later came out and announced that it was wrong and they had a large group the day after so we couldn't eat there then ... bar staff couldn't make drinks, she thought we could have a beer or wine!?!?!

Very good food. Very friendly staff. The food was very well prepared. Fine gastronomy.
Through a courtyard entrance you get to the entrance with a small terrace in front of it. Small guest room with gallery of metal, wood and at the end of the room you look at a portrait of a chapel from the inside. The friendly and always courteous waitress will lead you to the table. Apperetic: Riesling sparkling wine. There is a small dinner menu and the wine selection is interestingly in the clipboard invariably admitted what the normal card is. The delicious little greeting from the kitchen is a honey bread with sour pickled anchovies. Then it goes classically but with good ingredients (The origin of this is explained on the first page of the menu) from the environment on. Then it goes on with the perfectly prepared Bodeseezander on green sauce, the combination tastes excellent and beautifully presented it is also. Then it continues fulminant with the salt meadow lamb with herb crust and the delicious herbal jus. The final course was cheese, delicious but sober prepared. For the wonderful evening there was an equally wonderful 2015 Pinot Noir by M. Molitor.
As always very good. Great kitchen that can be seen in Cologne. Friendly service. Just great. Gladly again.
